(Impression of a moment)
A fisherman who lives in a shack above the long beaches on the northeast coast of Brasil, told his tale at dusk. It was a spontaneous declamation about nocturnal swims out on the high seas. A beautifully described ritual of diving into the deep from the fishingboat, floating and drifting upon the abyss under the stars, sensing the structure of seawater in the darkness, understanding the mindblowing solitude of the situation, and the overwhelming infinity of elements. It was a poem about knowing the ocean, walking on untouched beaches and living in the freedom of owning nothing but nature.
